Austin Cavan

Austin Cavan is an articling student at CP LLP. He earned a Global Professional Master of Laws (GP LLM) from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law, with a concentration in Canadian law.

Austin completed his LLB at Brunel University of London, graduating in the top 10% of his class with First Class Honours. During his time at Brunel, he played a leadership role in the Mooting Society, contributing to its programming and supporting the development of advocacy skills among his peers.

At CP LLP, Austin is building a broad practice across the firm’s litigation and business law groups, with a focus on developing strong advocacy skills and substantive corporate law experience.

Outside the office, Austin enjoys reading, gardening with his wife, and spending time with their dog, Bailey, and their cat, Teddy.
