Bogdan Nae

Bogdan Nae is an associate in CP LLP’s business law group. His practice focuses on corporate, commercial and securities law, with an emphasis on advising public and private companies throughout their business lifecycle.

Bogdan regularly advises issuers, boards of directors, investors and entrepreneurs on a broad range of domestic and cross-border transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, reverse takeovers, public and private equity and debt financings, corporate reorganizations, securities regulatory matters, stock exchange listings, continuous disclosure obligations, corporate governance, and general commercial agreements. He also assists clients with strategic transactions and day-to-day corporate matters across a variety of industries.

Prior to joining CP LLP, Bogdan practised corporate and securities law at a leading Toronto full-service law firm. Before entering private practice, he worked in-house at one of Canada’s largest financial institutions and at an international actuarial consulting firm, providing him with practical business and financial insight that informs his legal advice.

Bogdan received his B. Comm (with distinction) from Toronto Metropolitan University in 2017 and his J.D. from Western Law in 2020. During his time at Western Law, Bogdan was awarded the Hayes eLaw LLP Scholarship for highest standing in the Intellectual Property course and the Dean Ivan C. Rand Award for academic standing and contributions to the Faculty of Law.
